The ODSP is a provincial benefits program offered to Ontario residents 18 years old and older. The program supports individuals and families with low incomes and individuals with disabilities. In addition to providing financial assistance, the ODSP also covers some dental procedures.
ODSP recipients and their spouses can receive low-cost basic dental services at care providers enrolled in the program. Some ODSP recipients also qualify for denture services, which include fittings and replacements. If benefit recipients have a chronic illness that impacts their oral health, such as diabetes or HIV, ODSP dental benefits may cover additional procedures.
